Lexus was conceived out of a simple goal, “To build the world’s finest luxury car.”  In May of 1989 American auto journalists had the first opportunity to experience the entirely new brand called Lexus.  It was the result of six years of planning and well over one billion dollars in investment.  The commitment by Lexus to produce the world’s finest automobiles needed to be matched by an equally committed Lexus dealer, offering an ownership experience unlike any in the automotive industry at that time.
